Amplifiers you do not have to drive to

APEX is a Belgian manufacturer founded in the 1990s. The CloudPower range launched in 2020 and took Audio Technology of the Year at the AV Awards in 2022, largely on the strength of one idea: an installation amplifier that can be monitored and configured remotely, from any device, through the IntelliCloud web interface.

For an integrator with systems spread across a city or a region, that changes the economics of support. A gain adjustment, a preset change or a fault diagnosis no longer needs a van and half a day. It also makes remote monitoring something you can offer as a service rather than a callout you react to.

The range at 7HERTZ

  • CloudPower CP354D, CP704D, CP1504D and CP3004D: four-channel Class-D installation amplifiers with onboard DSP, scaling across power ratings so the same platform and interface covers a meeting room and a main auditorium.
  • CloudPower CP716D: sixteen channels in one frame, for immersive and dense multi-zone systems where channel count is the constraint rather than power.

Where it fits

Multi-zone hospitality, retail chains, houses of worship, education campuses and immersive installations. Anywhere the system will be lived with for years and somebody has to keep it running.

Buying APEX in the UAE and GCC

As official distributor we provide amplifier schedules, DSP configuration and commissioning from Dubai, with manufacturer warranty handled regionally. We will also walk your team through IntelliCloud so remote support is set up properly at handover rather than discovered later.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a CloudPower amplifier cost?
Pricing depends on the model and channel count, and we quote against the full system. Send us your loudspeaker schedule and we will specify the amplifiers and come back with a figure.
Which CloudPower model do I need?
The four-channel models share the same platform, interface and DSP and differ in power per channel, from the CP354D up to the CP3004D. The CP716D gives sixteen channels in one frame where density matters more than power, such as immersive systems or dense multi-zone installations. We size the amplifier to the loudspeaker load and the headroom you need.
What can I actually do remotely?
Monitor amplifier status, adjust gain and DSP, change presets and diagnose faults from any device through the IntelliCloud web interface, without going to site. For estates spread across a city or several emirates, that is usually the reason CloudPower gets specified.
Do APEX amplifiers include DSP, or do I need a separate processor?
Onboard DSP is included across the CloudPower range, and many systems need no external processor at all. If yours does, we will tell you.
Can CloudPower drive any brand of loudspeaker?
Yes. The amplifiers are not tied to one loudspeaker brand, and the onboard DSP lets us configure them for whatever cabinets the project uses. Tell us the loudspeakers and we will confirm the match.
Do you handle commissioning and setup?
Yes. Our technical team configures DSP, sets up IntelliCloud and commissions the system, so it is working and remotely accessible at handover.
What warranty comes with APEX amplifiers?
Full manufacturer warranty, handled regionally by 7HERTZ as official distributor, with no need to ship units back to Belgium.
