Amplification and Power
GlidePath DC-couples the DSP and power stages to reduce distortion and time offset versus conventional AC-coupled designs, with True Cone Excursion management protecting connected speakers from excess mechanical wear. The CP354D drives low-impedance loads directly or 70V/100V constant-voltage lines.
Networking and Control
A 4-input Dante module ships fitted as standard on the D models, supporting 48/96kHz networks with switchable or redundant primary/secondary ports and AES67 compatibility, letting the CP354D share a network with other Dante/AES67 equipment we supply, including DiGiCo consoles, KLANG processors, DirectOut converters, and Sound Devices Astral wireless receivers. Setup runs through the browser-based IntelliCloud WebUI over the amplifier's built-in WiFi hotspot or a wired LAN connection, with optional cloud access for remote monitoring.
DSP and Processing
A 64-bit fixed-point DSP engine provides a flexible routing matrix, per-channel and per-group gain/delay/polarity control, 12-band parametric EQ (16 filter types) at the user, group, and speaker-preset stages, HP/LP crossover filters (Bessel, Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley, 6-48 dB/oct), 768-tap FIR filtering per channel, and peak/RMS limiting.
Applications
A good fit for bars and restaurants, small retail stores, meeting rooms, and other compact installed sound projects needing networked, DSP-driven amplification without the cost of a higher-wattage model.
