Technical Specifications

RF Performance

The tuning window extends down into VHF, covering 169-1525 MHz overall, which opens up spectrum options in regions where UHF bands are crowded or restricted. It shares NexLink long-range remote control with the rest of the Astral line, so it pairs with the same receivers used for other transmitters in a rig.

Battery and Build

One or two rechargeable cells give 8+ hours of runtime, topped off through a built-in USB-C port without pulling the batteries out.

Control and Workflow

Setup uses tap-to-pair RFID with the companion app, and a sunlight-readable ePaper display keeps status visible even with no power connected. A vibrate-to-locate function helps identify a specific unit in a larger multi-transmitter deployment.

Applications

Suited to theatre, location sound, live music, and broadcast productions needing a compact, weatherproof transmitter for long days.
