RF Performance

A wideband RocketAntenna design keeps output level consistent regardless of hand position, addressing the signal loss that affects many handheld transmitters when gripped tightly. Combined with a global tuning window and one-touch frequency scanning, the system is built to find clean spectrum quickly on the road.

Audio Path

The included CD1 capsule is individually calibrated at the factory for consistent tone across units. Owners can also swap in third-party capsules using Shure- or Sennheiser-style threads without an adapter, and gain is handled entirely downstream at the receiver or mixer rather than on the microphone itself.

Control and Workflow

An interchangeable control ring lets operators add or remove physical buttons as needed, and the whole exterior, including shell, ring, and capsule collar, can be swapped for quick re-branding between shows. All remote functions, including full power-down, run over Sound Devices' long-range control link from a paired receiver or companion app.

Applications

Suited to touring concerts, houses of worship, theatre, broadcast, corporate events, and cruise ship productions.
