The Qi8E extends the Qi8 into outdoor and weather-exposed environments, keeping the same refined cabinet aesthetic while adding marine-grade construction throughout. A 1-inch compression driver pairs with an 8-inch woofer, giving the same 90 x 70 degree coverage and output as the standard Qi8, now housed in an IP55-rated enclosure with stainless steel fasteners and grille.

Built from marine-grade plywood coated inside and out with a rugged, UV-resistant polyurea finish rated IP55. All fasteners and the grille are stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance in sustained outdoor use.

Build and Mounting

Stainless steel mesh grille with polyester fibre fabric. Ships with a Euroblock connector and cover plate; horizontal and vertical brackets sold separately.

Amplifier Compatibility

Runs at 8 ohms and is recommended for use with Quest QX or QXD amplifiers.
