Immersive Processing
The unit generates up to 16 independent immersive mixes from as many as 128 input channels at sample rates up to 96 kHz, with internal processing latency rated under a quarter of a millisecond. Root-Intensity EQ tools are available on every mix, and single-channel routing lets an engineer freely reassign audio between the mix engine and the installed expansion cards.
Connectivity
Three DMI expansion slots on the rear accept Optocore, Dante, or MADI cards, each supporting up to 64 input and output channels at 48 kHz or 96 kHz, so the same chassis can be configured to match almost any existing signal format. A front-panel network port delivers Power over Ethernet directly to a connected KLANG:kontroller, and word clock in/out plus dual redundant power supplies support demanding, always-on installations.
Control and Workflow
A 7-inch front-mounted colour touchscreen handles mix control, audio setup, routing, and metering directly on the unit, while integration with DiGiCo's SD and Quantum control surfaces lets engineers use their console's existing snapshots, faders, and knobs to manage the immersive mix. KLANG:kontroller units can be linked in for musician-side control, and a built-in studio-grade headphone amplifier lets the engineer monitor console cue feeds or switch straight to a KLANG mix.
