Immersive Processing

The unit renders a single immersive binaural mix from up to 64 mono input channels, using the same ultra-low-latency FPGA architecture found in KLANG's larger processors, with processing latency rated at roughly a quarter of a millisecond. KLANG's Root-Intensity EQ is built in, and the whole unit is configured and mixed through KLANG:app.

Connectivity

KLANG:1pro adds both Dante and MADI connectivity on top of the base KLANG:1 feature set, supporting 64x64 channels of Dante at 48 or 96 kHz with redundant primary and secondary ports, plus 64x64 channel MADI BNC input and output (dropping to 64x32 at 96 kHz). Single-channel routing lets it act as a stand-alone Dante-MADI format converter even outside of its mixing role. Power and control run over a single USB-C cable, with a second USB-C port available for extra power delivery, so no separate power supply is needed.

Control and Workflow

KLANG:1pro is directly compatible with KLANG:kontroller for musician-side hands-on control, and it integrates natively with DiGiCo Quantum and SD-range console workflows, letting engineers bring immersive mixing into productions of any size without changing their existing console-based routine.
