The POLAR 8 MK2 is an all-in-one active column PA system that combines an 8" subwoofer, a curved column mid/high array, and a built-in 3-channel mixer into a single portable rig. It’s aimed at musicians, presenters, and event professionals working on small stages, in rehearsal rooms, or at conferences, and it’s the most compact model in the POLAR MK2 series.

System Configuration

The system ships as three pieces: an active subwoofer with an 8-inch driver, a spacer, and a curved column loaded with six 2.5-inch neodymium broadband speakers. The column delivers a 120 x 45 degree dispersion pattern for even coverage of small stages, rehearsal rooms and conference spaces.

Mixer and Control

An integrated 3-channel mixer accepts two XLR/jack combo mic-or-line inputs and a stereo RCA input, with a balanced XLR mix output for linking further systems. The DSP preamp runs at 48 kHz, and the Contour control blends continuously between DJ, Music and Voice voicings. Bluetooth 5.0 with True Wireless Stereo lets two POLAR systems link for cable-free stereo playback, and a USB-C port charges mobile devices.

Build and Portability

The subwoofer uses a metal-reinforced, low-resonance ABS housing, which keeps the whole system under 20 kg, while the column uses a high-rigidity aluminium housing. A subwoofer cover and a transport bag for the column are included.
