The POLAR 10 MK2 is an all-in-one active column PA system that combines a subwoofer, a passive column mid/high array, and a built-in mixer into a single portable rig. The system ships as three pieces: a powered subwoofer with a 10-inch driver, an aluminium spacer, and a passive column loudspeaker loaded with six 3-inch drivers plus a 1-inch compression driver on a constant-directivity horn. The column delivers a 120 x 30 degree dispersion pattern, giving broad horizontal coverage for standing or seated audiences at close to moderate distances.

Mixer and Control

An integrated preamp accepts two XLR/jack combo mic-or-line inputs, a 1/4-inch instrument input, and a stereo RCA input, with phantom power available for condenser microphones. Onboard DSP runs off a 24-bit/44.1 kHz sample path with three switchable sound modes (Music, Voice, DJ) plus five storable user presets, a 3-band EQ, and a semi-parametric mid band, controlled via an LCD display. Bluetooth 5.0 with True Wireless Stereo lets two POLAR systems link for stereo playback, and a USB-C port on the mixer panel charges mobile devices or wireless mic receivers during a show.

Build and Portability

The subwoofer cabinet is plywood with a black acrylic enamel finish and carrying handles, while the column uses a low-resonance aluminium profile finished in powder-coated black or white. A padded subwoofer cover and a transport bag for the column and spacer are included, and an optional wheelboard accessory is available for easier transport.

Applications

Self-contained sound reinforcement for weddings, corporate presentations, solo and duo musicians, and mobile DJ setups where an external mixer and separate speaker cabinets aren't practical.
