Driver Configuration and Dispersion
The 12-inch cone woofer runs a 2-inch voice coil for extra power handling, crossed over to a 1-inch compression driver loaded into the same BEM-optimised, rotatable constant-directivity horn used across the FINEO range. With 80 x 60 degree dispersion and 90 degree horn rotation, the FO 12 can be reoriented for horizontal or vertical coverage depending on room shape, and it's commonly paired with FINEO S118 or S218 subwoofers for a full-range system, or used alongside FO 5 delay speakers to extend coverage into larger rooms.
Build and Mounting
Cabinet construction is MDF with an acrylic enamel finish in black or white, protected by a steel front grille with acoustic foam backing. Rigging points on the sides, base, and rear (including a VESA MIS-E 200x200mm pattern) support both wall/pole mounting and flown rigging, and the FO 12 is ball-impact certified to DIN 18032-3 for sports and multifunctional hall use.
Amplification and DSP Compatibility
Passive by design, the FO 12 pairs with external amplifiers. HK Audio documents presets and filter sheets for Lab.Gruppen IPX/IPD, QSC Q-SYS, Symetrix, Biamp Tesira, BSS, and other common control platforms.
