Plugin Hosting

transform.engine runs studio-grade VST3 or CLAP plugins, giving engineers access to processing they already know from the studio on a platform built specifically for live production. The system is controlled remotely through the transform.client application, which offers customisable plugin views (including chain and grid views), multiple recallable cuelists (triggered from the client, MIDI, or console integration), preset management, and detailed DSP load monitoring.

Redundancy and Reliability

A patent-pending, sandboxed audio engine keeps a crashing plugin from affecting the rest of the signal chain. The affected plugin restarts automatically, often before it's even noticed. Dual-redundant IEC mains power and dual-redundant etherCON networking remove common single points of failure for touring use.

Console Integration

transform.engine integrates directly with DiGiCo Quantum consoles, putting on-surface control of any hosted plugin under the engineer's fingers. The Quantum 338 and Quantum852 already in our range both support this integration, with transform.engine control available directly from the console worksurface, including Tap Tempo, Recall Safe, Bypass, and Smite.

Latency and Performance

An Intel Alder Lake i9-12900 processor with 6 isolated DSP cores drives 64 channels of audio at up to 96kHz, with roundtrip latency as low as 1.2ms once routed over the upcoming HYPERPORT connection to DiGiCo consoles.

Applications

Live sound touring, broadcast, theatre, and installed sound work requiring studio-grade plugin processing with in-console control.
