Driver Configuration

Two 10-inch neodymium LF drivers work alongside a 4-inch/2.5-inch coaxial MF/HF compression driver, the product of EM Acoustics' most extensive waveguide research programme to date. That research produced two alternate waveguides with a notably natural tonal character and consistent on- and off-axis response.

Waveguide and Dispersion

Both a 110 x 50 degree wide waveguide and an 80 x 50 degree narrow waveguide ship as standard, switchable in minutes alongside an amplifier preset change. The fitted pattern and its orientation remain identifiable without removing the grille.

Build and Mounting

Bracing carried over from the HALO line array series gives the birch-plywood enclosure a rigid, lightweight structure. The polyurethane finish is impact- and weather-resistant, offered in black or white as standard with RAL and outdoor-rated options available. Handle placement, threaded rigging points and a quick-release keyhole flying plate complete the mechanical package.

Amplifier Compatibility

Amplifier-agnostic operation is central to the design, with EM Acoustics' DQ Advanced System Amplifiers and the Di20 installation amplifier recommended and per-channel loading published for each.

Applications

Theatre proscenium installations, corporate and AV reinforcement, and live music front-of-house where full-range output needs to come from a compact enclosure.
