Audio Processing

A floating-point DSP core drives the unit's routing, mixing, filtering, delay, and gain functions, so signal chains can be built to order in the HARVEY Composer software rather than following a fixed factory layout. Presets can be saved and recalled instantly, useful for rooms that switch between several configurations in a day.

Connectivity

The 8 balanced analogue inputs support both mic and line level with switchable P48 phantom power, and the 8 balanced line outputs cover local loudspeakers or amplifier zones. A 64x64-channel Dante interface with primary/secondary redundancy lets the unit fold into an existing Dante network, including Dante-equipped consoles, converters, and wireless receiver systems already installed on site, without extra conversion hardware.

Control Interfaces

Beyond audio, the 8x8-DA carries Ethernet, RS-232, and RS-485/DMX control ports, four GPIs, two analogue control inputs, four GPOs, and two relay contacts, letting it double as a protocol bridge between media controllers, lighting desks, and building automation systems.

Applications

A natural fit for conference rooms, small theatres, houses of worship, and other installed sound spaces that need an affordable analogue-to-Dante DSP matrix with built-in control routing.
