Audio Processing

The unit's floating-point DSP core handles routing, mixing, filtering, delay, and gain across all 24 analogue channels plus the Dante network, configured freely in HARVEY Composer rather than locked to a fixed signal flow. Multiple room presets can be stored and recalled at the press of a button.

Connectivity

8 balanced mic/line inputs with switchable P48 phantom power feed the matrix, while 16 balanced line outputs cover a larger number of loudspeaker zones or amplifier feeds than the base 8x8 model. The onboard 64x64-channel Dante interface, with primary/secondary redundancy, lets the 8x16-DA sit on the same network as Dante-equipped consoles, converters, and wireless receiver systems already in the venue.

Control Interfaces

Ethernet, RS-232, and RS-485/DMX ports, plus four GPIs, two analogue control inputs, four GPOs, and two relay contacts, allow the unit to bridge media controllers, lighting systems, and building automation alongside its audio duties.

Applications

Well suited to theatres, houses of worship, hospitality venues, and installed sound projects distributing a small number of sources to many zones with Dante-networked processing and control.
