The 4061 is a miniature omnidirectional lavalier microphone built for bodyworn use in theatre, television and live performance. It shares its capsule with the 4060, but its sensitivity is tuned down to suit louder sources and more sensitive wireless transmitters, so it clips later on a shouting performer or a loud instrument.

Capsule and Durability

A 5.4 mm pre-polarised omnidirectional capsule sits behind a double vent protection system and moisture-resistant internals, which help the mic survive perspiration, humidity and stage makeup over long runs. Swappable protection grids let the same capsule be tuned for soft-boost or high-boost response depending on where it sits on the body.

Connectivity

The mic terminates in DPA's MicroDot connector as standard, with hardwired options available for LEMO, TA4F Mini-XLR and Mini-Jack, and it works with the full range of DPA adapters for third-party wireless systems.
