Technical Specifications

Network Audio

The 64 input and 64 output channels are delivered as eight streams of eight channels each. Unlike Dante-based DMI cards, DMI-AVB holds this full 64x64 channel count at both 48kHz and 96kHz rather than reducing channel count at the higher sample rate. A USB-B port is provided for firmware updates.

Redundancy

Two EtherCON ports can be configured in redundant mode for mission-critical installs, or in bridged (switched) mode for simpler point-to-point setups.

Compatibility

Fits any DiGiCo console with a free DMI slot across the Quantum range, plus the SD12. Other SD-Range and S-Series consoles can join a Milan/AVB network via DiGiCo's outboard Orange Box interface.

Applications

Live and installed sound projects standardised on Milan/AVB networking, particularly systems built around Milan-certified loudspeakers and amplifiers.
