Easy and Fast On-the-Fly Screen Designing/Protocol Generation: This extremely powerful feature allows you to set all of the wonderful options of the Bio Integrator any way you like and save them as a "Set-up." All you have to do is choose what you want to save, provide a name and press the Save key.
Think of it as an "application or protocol generator." For example, you could create an "Alpha protocol" and save it, create an "EMG protocol" and save it, or individualize and name a client protocol, e.g., "Caroline's EMG training" and save it as a Set-up, etc.
Each setup saves all the settings you have chosen,
such as smoothing, screens, audio, EEG bandwidths, mandalas, puzzles, graphs,
ranges, colors, etc. You don’t have to stop recording or do any pre-planning. Just go to the list, pick your setup, and load it whenever you want. You can also save any set-up you want while recording a session and
adjust it at any time. Any set-up can be used with any client at any time.
With a simple keystroke, you can access the trend data collected in your session while training with your client in real-time. This allows you to point out trends and provide your client with a larger perspective on his or her progress. As new epochs arrive, the trend data updates. This breakthrough really lets you keep a close eye on positive or negative trends developing across any measure, greatly enhancing your productivity and efficiency.
The Bio Integrator offers sophisticated inhibit control. This feature allows you to place a wide range of inhibits on audio and visual feedback.
With the Bio Integrator Phoenix, you can review previously recorded client data on your monitor while the current client is training in real-time on their monitor. You can access Review a Session data, Longitudinal data and Virtual Playback data while your client is doing biofeedback training. This ability to access your past sessions while your client trains can greatly enhance your efficiency. For example you might bring up their Longitudinal data and drag it over to their screen to help motivate them by showing them their progress across sessions to date.
Or you might go to Virtual Data Playback and get a session where someone created a nice breath pattern and overlay that data above their current breathing pattern as a way to help them better model good breathing.
The Bio Integrator offers the dynamic feature of real-time screen capture, which allows you to capture any line graph, fill graph, spectral display, oscilloscope, etc., and print immediately or later. Speaking of printing it later, the Bio Integrator has a really nifty previewer that lets you cursor down a list of captured images while looking at each highlighted image on the color monitor. When you find one you'd like to print out, simply chose Select All and Copy. Not only can you capture the images in real-time, you can capture them in Review a Session and Longitudinal Review. You can select any part of a screen that you like with your mouse, and copy it to another program for printing and saving. You can also easily paste your graphs into other applications like Word or Power Point.
The Bio Integrator offers fine control over screen sweeps and the ability to speed up or slow the screen sweep. You can pick anywhere from 1 second to 15 minute sweeps.
0-15 steps of smoothing can be changed at any time and are available to all 80 physiological variables in the video and audio measures. You can change the steps of smoothing and the range of scaling for all the channels of any multi-channel modality at once. These capabilities are really great time savers. Those of you who measure multiple channels of a particular modality will like being able to change all channels at the same time.
You can skip down lists by typing the first letter of the word you want, and you will be moved to that part of the alphabet within the list. This feature helps save time by skipping down certain lists rather than making you scroll all the way down to the word you want. For example, in the list of clients, type "P" and you will skip down to all last names that begin with P. This cool feature can be used many commonly used lists: Client Names, Graphs, Set-up Names, Mandala Names, Puzzle Names, Puzzle Voices, Regular Voices
Beautiful color printouts are standard with the Bio Integrator. Beautiful color printouts are standard with the Bio Integrator. Printing is as simple as copying and pasting. You can print full-page, two-per-page, or four-per-page data displays, in real-time, single sessions and for multiple sessions with longitudinal review. You can also easily paste your graphs into other applications like Word or Power Point.
By simply pressing F1, you have context sensitive help available throughout the program. In addition, if you are using the Bio Integrator with two monitors during a client session, you can always access the desktop User Guide to read on your screen while your client trains.

As monitors get bigger and bigger, many programs don't rescale legends, axes, fonts, etc., when they rescale their graphs - and what clients can’t see, they can’t learn. Your Bio Integrator screens are resolution-independent - regardless of the resolution of your monitor, Bio Integrator graph descriptions, legends, scales, etc., are easy for you and your client to read. Since clients typically sit 5 or 6 feet away from their screens, it's important that they can see and understand what's going on. With the Bio Integrator, you know that your screens will be fully meaningful on any monitor.
As far as backing up your data is concerned, all you need to do is copy two files to a thumb drive, CD, etc., and you're done.
Even with all your protection against viruses and malware, you computer can still become infested. But the Bio Integrator is specially designed to resist these pests. So, if your computer becomes infected and you need to reformat or replace your hard drive or computer, you can just copy your two Bio Integrator files that you keep as backups and all your client files are available when you need them.
